The concepts of so-called teledildonics and adult products that work with gaming systems have been around for over 15 years. In early 2010, researched showed that there were no devices on the market that allowed two people separated by distance to physically play with each other at the same time. There are devices controlled by software which require one user to control the other’s device via a mouse or keyboard but these systems miss the point. There needed to be a better way for partners separated by distance to simultaneously interact with each other.
SKDu LLC was founded in 2010 to research and solve this problem. Later that year, the Mojowijo idea was unveiled as the world’s first motion activated, wirelessly connected body massagers. Over the course of a year the product has been market researched, prototyped and re-shaped several times to prepare for release in fall 2011.
The idea for shared, motion activated, connected toys has been overwhelmingly well received by the general public around the world. Couples in close relationships but separated by distance for long durations have been the most vocal and are looking to Mojowijo to bring intimacy back into their relationships or just keep them going even stronger when distances keep them apart.
